11/14 Deployment – Dave and Buster’s
Have you ever been to Dave and Buster’s? It’s an arcade for adults — finally you can spite your parents and play Space Invaders and Pac-Man with an ‘adult drink’ in hand. It’s every child’s dream, until they can finally make it come true :)
Anyway, the only reason I bring this up is because here at Optify HQ we keep talking about “D&B”. D&B this and D&B that. We are, of course, talking about Dunn & Bradstreet, the gargantuan data provider, but somehow my first thought is always of skee ball.
Anyway, the reason we keep talking about D&B is because we have been hard at work hooking up our new data provider (Dave & Buster’s Dunn & Bradstreet) to Optify’s Contact Manager. Why is this awesome, you ask? Because you are a marketer. Your Contact database is your lifeblood. Data on your Contacts is a precious thing. We understand that. And we want to make that data even better. Not only do we want to augment your Contact data with website activity, AND email activity, AND form submission activity, but we ALSO want to augment it with reliable company profile data. If you can get a prospect to fill out a form telling you the company they work for, why should they have to tell you things like the company’s address or revenue or number of employees? Especially when Optify can. We get the importance of being able to segment your Contacts. So from now on, if you set up an Optify Landing Page, and John Doe fills it out and says he works for Dave and Buster’s, then Optify will fill in the rest:

By the way, I would also be in the “Leisure” industry if I made $541 million/year ;)
We’ve been providing data like this in Optify’s Lead Intelligence for ages now, but we are happy to port this data into Contact Manager, where you can play with our incredibly fast and powerful filters (you can also save the filters you set).
Coincidence? Yeah, probably.
We also spent some quality time fixing bugs (a software company’s favorite thing to do). And we’ve been hard at work on a few great new features that I can’t wait to announce, but dare not speak of too soon.
As always, please feel free to let us know what else you’d like to see.
