We’re very excited to announce a few updates to our Landing Pages. Easily, the 3 most requested features were 1. more fields; 2. multi-line text fields; and 3. more colors.
A couple months ago, I found myself in a conversation with friends where it became clear that none of us were perfectly clear on the definition of inertia. One friend thought ‘inert’ simply meant immobile, or stuck. But an object in motion has inertia. So it’s more like momentum then? Then we started introducing things like friction and resistance and velocity and … Eventually, we did what we modern humans do and pulled out a mobile phone and went to the universal arbiter of truth – Wikipedia. The official definition?
Inertia: the resistance of any physical object to a change in its state of motion or rest, or the tendency of an object to resist any change in its motion.
You are an Optify evangelist. You have been using Optify since before we launched Contact Manager 2.0. You remember the days before we revamped Email Manager. Since then, you’ve been fed a steady diet of marketing automation tools — ways to make your job easier and require less of your time. Most recently, you rejoiced when we delivered the world’s simplest Autoresponders, and some other great tools.
Well, say hello to another powerful new feature to make your marketing life easier — Smart Lists.
We are incredibly excited to announce an enormously powerful, yet still surprisingly simple, feature for our digital marketing software suite: Autoresponders!
As they say over at Urban Dictionary, we are chowing down on some serious excitement pie.
Autoresponders was easily the most requested feature. Specifically, customers wanted Optify to automagically send an email to someone who filled out a form. Well we just delivered a whole lot more than that. We dare say that ‘autoresponders’ is too small a term for what we’ve delivered.
We understand that sometimes it’s easier to slice and dice your contacts into several lists and then choose to a single email to multiple of those lists. We also understand that sometimes you have a list of contacts that you want to exclude from an email blast. So now when you log in to Optify’s Email Manager, you’ll see this in the ‘To’ section:
One of the beauties of working in software development is that software, like sharks, can’t stay still. It must move forward, or die. You’ve seen those apps that stay still for years. You log in and you feel like you’re walking through cobwebs. It’s like a virtual haunted house.
We think we’ve done a great job simplifying the app while at the same time adding great new functionality. Please accept our Chrismakah gift, and let us know if you like it. If you don’t like it, it was from Santa :)
